IEEE January 2004 Cameco Spectrum This was a great event! I entered 2 bots but unfortunately only one was ready. That's all right, I only really cared about Electric lettuce. I didn't do as well as I hoped due to my crappy toy radio. But I managed to go 2 and 2 (one of my wins being a bye). Mourning Star (now known as Mow-bot due to controversy over the name) Was especially impressive.
This match was great fun! I started off a little badly and couldn't get my blade pointed towards him. After I figured out the controls properly I proceeded |

with cutting off his wheels. Electric Lettuce wins by KO! yay!
This was a interesting match. Unfortunately my weapon was not working. I wired up an LED wrong which interfered with the weapon timer. It was a pushing match. It wasn't a slaughter, We were probably about 50/50 until my wheel came off. Crescent bot wins by KO!
My blade was working for this one, but it didn't help. I pretty much got owned. He was about push me out but my disk caught on something making me do a backflip and landing behind him. I still could not maneuver in time to take him out. A few seconds later I was pushed out. Wedgie win by KO! I had a great time at this event, Thanks to all those who helped make it possible. |

Picture taken at IEEE August, 2003. As you can see, it was very cramped. |
IEEE August, 2003 Mendel Art Gallery This was my first event ever, I did horribly only going 2 - 0 with bot my bots. But that's fine with me. I probably wouldn't have done so bad if I wasn't so nervous. It must have been pretty funny to the other people watching me shake as I opened the door to put my bot in.
